What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let websites remember things — that you’re logged in, what language you prefer, and so on.
What we use
GuildTrek uses cookies in three categories:
- Essential — required for the site to work. These keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and protect against fraud. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — anonymous, aggregated metrics about how the site is used (e.g. which pages are most visited). These help us improve. You can opt out at any time.
- Functional — remember your interface choices (theme, layout) so you don’t have to set them every visit.
We do not use
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell cookie data to third parties.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will break the sign-in flow.
We will surface a clear cookie banner on first visit so you can make an informed choice.
